Geotechnical Investigation Services in Jaipur — Know Your Ground Before You Build

Every safe and durable structure begins with a thorough understanding of the ground beneath it. BE GEO INFRA provides professional geotechnical investigation services in Jaipur and across India, delivering critical subsurface information that engineers and architects need to design safe, cost-effective foundations.

With over 25 years of experience and an ISO 9001:2015-certified operation, we have conducted geotechnical investigations for bridges, highways, buildings, railways, dams, and energy projects across multiple states in India.

What Is Geotechnical Investigation?

Geotechnical investigation (also known as site investigation or soil investigation) is the process of exploring and characterising the subsurface conditions at a construction site. It involves fieldwork such as borehole drilling and in-situ testing, followed by laboratory analysis of collected samples.

The results inform critical decisions about foundation type, depth, pile design, bearing capacity, settlement prediction, and slope stability — all of which directly impact the safety and economy of your project.

Why Accurate Geotechnical Data Matters

Inadequate site investigation is one of the leading causes of foundation failure and construction disputes. When you invest in a proper geotechnical investigation upfront, you save significantly on foundation redesign, construction delays, and remediation costs. Our detailed reports give your structural engineers the data confidence they need.

Why Choose BE GEO INFRA?

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  1. How many boreholes are needed for my project?

The number and spacing of boreholes depends on the project size, structure type, and soil variability. As a general guide, IS 1892 recommends one borehole per 250–500 sq. m for buildings. We provide a site-specific investigation plan after reviewing your project requirements.

  1. How deep should boreholes be?

Borehole depth depends on the proposed foundation type and structure load. For pile foundations, borings typically go to 1.5 times the pile length or until competent rock is encountered. For shallow foundations, 2–3 times the foundation width below founding level is the standard.

  1. How long does a geotechnical investigation take?

A typical investigation for a medium-sized project (10–20 boreholes) takes 7–15 working days for fieldwork, followed by 10–14 days for lab testing and report preparation.
